Formerly First State Bank
Randy Sims, President and CEO
As
the founding bank of the holding company, First
State Bank opened in Conway, Arkansas, in 1999
as a locally owned, community bank to serve the
needs of local businesses and individuals. Never
forgetting that there’s more to doing business
than just doing business, First State Bank has
been an active participant in the tremendous
growth of the central Arkansas marketplace. And
that is one of the key founding principles
exhibited by all in Home BancShare’s growing
family of banks.

Formerly Twin City Bank
Bob Birch,
Regional President
The original Twin
City Bank opened in North Little Rock, Arkansas,
in 1904. Ninety years later the bank went
through a series of name changes due to sales to
out-of-state organizations. In June 2000, the
Twin City Bank name was resurrected and a new
bank was formed becoming a full Home BancShares
partner in January 2005. In the last seven
years, TCB has compiled an impressive record of
organic growth as it serves greater Little Rock,
the state’s largest metropolitan area.
